Wallace Falls

This past weekend we spent Saturday, you guessed it, working on the house/yard. Sunday we went to Wallace Falls State Park. It was BEAUTIFUL! We took the 5+ mile (round-trip) hike to the middle falls. On the way up we passed small falls and lower falls. We did not press on to the upper falls, but that is on the list to do another day! The middle falls is the showcase of the area, measuring in over 260 feet!

This is a small bridge on the trail which crosses a stream

Small Falls - it's the first waterfall on the trail and you have to take a small quick sidetrail to get here.

Another view of the small falls

Mid Falls was breathtaking. The mist from the falls reached to the viewing area, which was a welcome relief after the hike!
